Many of us just don't know that those tiny little reels of film sitting in our parent's closet and attic are filled with jewels of family history. It has probably been decades since they've been seen, but who's got a screen and projector to show them these days? Also, the film stock deteriorates over time and becomes brittle, the colors fade, and dirt and dust collect on the film damaging it even further. Using our state of the art film transfer process, we can convert your 8mm and Super8 silent films to DVD for viewing on a Smart TV or computer. All you need to add is the popcorn and it's like going to the old movies. There's nothing like the look of 8mm film to bring back the spirit and times of "back in the day". Want to enhance your viewing experience by adding audio tracks or subtitles. Our editing fee starts at $75/hr.

How is it done? We start with a careful hand-cleaning and inspection of your film. The cleaner we use is specially formulated for film and it both lubricates and preserves the film. During the cleaning process we also repair broken sections and weak splices. We then place the prepared reels on our state-of-the-art transfer machines that scan each individual frame of film and converts it to digital video. This process produces a high quality, flicker-free video that maintains the fidelity of the original footage. Then a custom DVD menu is created, chapter markers placed, and the finished DVD is delivered in a movie box with custom labeling and color photos taken from your footage. We can also place your final video files on a flash drive and format it for viewing on a Smart TV, PC or Mac (prices are reduced for this process).

$50 - 150 foot minimum (3x50ft reels).
$0.35 per foot thereafter.
